@dutchsinse The north border of Nevada into Oregon at Thacker Pass is the latest potential mining site for Lithium. Gigantic deposit in the McDermitt super volcano and they're trying to start mining it, but the Indian tribes are pushing back. Mount Lassen has been active as well with many swarms in it's flanks including Prattville (under Lake Almanor) including several high 4s and low 5s Magnitude less than 6 months ago... I just drove down to Santa Barbara county a week ago, and my route from I-5 to 101 goes across the San Andreas. From I-5 to hwy 33 (about 7 miles off I-5) crosses the San Andreas and the roadway was like a roller coaster. I drove this route last fall and it was smooth. The roadway has almost buckled in several places. Also the road from Santa Barbara to the inner Santa Ynez valley has been closed because the roadway base is crumbling (also along the San Andreas fault).
